Subject: The use of the Kpathsearch library with TeXview
Dear Mr. Berry: December 17,1993
I am using the web2c distribution of TeX3.141, and dvipsk-5.521a with
the included Kpathsearch library. These programs and others were
obtained from source and built by me to reside on an optical disk
running under NeXTstep2.0 on a NeXT cube. And so far so good. Now
however I would like to use the Kpathsearch library with the
TeXview-a9 source which resides at labrea.stanford.edu, and with a
minimal knowledge of C I am at a loss as to how to interface the
library to the source code. I would greatly appreciate any advice or
pointers on this matter.
The entire TeX distribution is an excellent example of well
maintained and documented code allowing even a neophyte like myself
to build an entire system, and the system could be nicer with
recursive directory searching in TeXview!
Yours in Truth,
Joseph Roundtree
